As you know I really love travelling. I see many interesting things and meet some wonderful people. I am posting some pictures of an adventure I had with a colleague in outback Queensland, which is filled with some fantastically interesting places, wide and beautiful vistas...and a good coffee or two.

It does a city wombat good to get out and back to his roots every now and then. This particular adventure I had a number of challenges to fulfil, one of which was to dresss up as Pricilla Queen of the Desert. I am partial to wearing the odd outfit, as you are aware from some other adventures. As you can see from the selection of photos....I had a wonderful time.

$1100 funds raised- thanks to all my colleagues in burrow 111

Well, you may get the impression that I am just a wombat who is out to have a good time ....well yes, I do like to have fun, but I also take my ambassadorial role for my northern hairy nosed wombat family very seriously and was very excited to be able to send a cheque for $1100 to my friends Alan and Colleen who work so hard to help my family. This is a picture of them receiving our cheque. I believe this will go to purchase an infrared camera to monitor my mates.

Weddings

I also got the opportunity whilst down in Melbourne of visition the home of a wellknown Australian actress who has done some splendid work in film and television...as can be seen by all her awards! The crocodile has something to do with the movie Crocodile Dundee I believe.

I had great delight in attending the wedding of a colleague late last year. I thank both her and her charming beau for letting me come to their special day. Doesn't she look gorgeous? I really like a good wedding and this was was great.
